Albany Heights Road Subdivision
Located in Dairy Flat, Auckland, the site encompasses a total work area of 3.3 hectares. This particular site posed a range of environmental challenges, including the need to protect wildlife under Resource Consent (RC) conditions. Our work required us to navigate around protected trees, steep banks, and ensure the preservation of habitats for bats and lizards. We also needed to maintain open access track for Electrix to access the transmission power lines at all times.
To address these challenges, we conducted thorough consultations with various professionals and experts in the field. This allowed us to develop a meticulous plan that involved dividing the work into several stages and allocating different teams to specific areas. Certain teams received specialized training to ensure they could work in close proximity to the protected trees and wildlife without causing harm.
By implementing this comprehensive plan, we were able to successfully complete the project within the designated timeframe and budget. Our commitment to environmental protection, careful planning, and adherence to the necessary regulations enabled us to overcome the challenges posed by the site while ensuring the preservation of wildlife habitats and meeting the project objectives.
