Pinehurst School
Back
The Pinehurst School PUDO redevelopment focused on improving traffic flow, safety, and stormwater management within the school’s busy drop-off zone. The project involved extensive site preparation, including earthworks, sediment control, roading, concrete works, and stormwater infrastructure.
Maxion Civil carried out topsoil stripping, bund formation, and over 300 m³ of GAP65 basecourse placement, followed by 950 m² of asphalt surfacing. The team constructed 140 metres of kerb and channel, 60 m² of concrete footpath, and 25 m² of commercial-grade vehicle crossings, all built to Auckland Transport standards.
Stormwater upgrades included the installation of 90 metres of 225mm uPVC pipe, a Stormwater360 filtration device, and recessed double cesspits with drop syphons. Additional works included CCTV inspection, silt fencing, and stabilised construction entrances to meet environmental compliance.
Delivered with precision and coordination, the project enhanced the school’s infrastructure while maintaining safety and accessibility throughout construction.
