530 Great North Rd

The 530 Great North Road project was both challenging and complex. The Maxion Civil team delivered specialized slip remediation services, including engineers who designed a tailored solution for a seismic zone with deep foundations.

Twelve-meter round, steel-reinforced cages were handcrafted off-site and transported to the rest home. Our team carefully and strategically maneuvered the long steel cages into place with precision, followed by the formation of concrete piles. Capping beams were constructed to fit over the top of the steel cages, enhancing structural integrity and reducing the risk of future landslips.

This approach effectively mitigates erosion hazards, ensuring the area remains secure, resilient, and sustainable. By combining advanced piling techniques with a reinforced support system, the 530 Great North Road project delivers a durable and reliable solution for terrain stabilization and long-term safety. Our highly skilled workforce operated tenaciously in confined spaces, with Health and Safety as our top priority throughout the project.
