The Stage 1 redevelopment of the Whenuapai Flower Planting Farm involved extensive site preparation and infrastructure works. Maxion Civil installed sediment control measures and undertook contaminated soil treatment before completing site levelling across a 4-hectare area.

The works also included the construction of a bridge and trackway for vehicles, permeable road construction covering 4,000 m², and the installation of drainage, a pump station, and an irrigation system. Major earthmoving exceeded 20,000 m³, and over 600 driven piles were completed to support the development.

This stage demonstrated Maxion Civil’s capability to deliver complex redevelopment works efficiently, while ensuring environmental compliance and robust infrastructure outcomes.
